The Communication Exchange (“the Exchange” for short) listserv is an online communication platform that enables real-time information sharing, enhances communication, and promotes cross-sector collaboration. Join the Exchange to connect, support and share with area not-for-profit organizations in real time!

How does it work?

The Exchange works just like email. Send an email to the address CayugaNFP@listserv.cayuga-cc.edu and everyone subscribed to the Exchange will receive it. It is a great tool to:

❖ Network and collaborate with colleagues

❖ Share service and program changes

❖ Share information about upcoming workshops, trainings, and events

❖ Post job openings

❖ Post volunteer and other opportunities

❖ Request assistance in locating hard-to-find resources

❖ Share other information and topics of interest to the not for profit community

Here is how you sign up - it’s easy

Send an email to:

ListServ@listserv.cayuga-cc.edu

In the body of the email type:

Subscribe CayugaNFP [your full name]

The subject of the email message is not needed. You will receive an email requesting confirmation of your subscription.

After you subscribe

Once you confirm your subscription you will receive an email with important links. Be sure to save it for future reference. You should receive a confirmation message within 24 hours. If you do not get this welcome message, please contact admin@human-services.org.

User guide

Below is the link to the User Guide with important information on user rules and guidelines. You can change your subscription to a daily digest or unsubscribe at any time.

Anyone can participate

You do NOT have to be a member of Catalyst Cayuga to participate on the listserv. The Exchange is open to all stakeholders affiliated with the not-for-profit sector. This includes (but not limited to):

❖   Not-for-profit organizations (health, human services, arts, education, municipalities, etc)

❖   Case managers/client managers

❖   County and city departments who work closely with not-for-profit providers

❖   Faith-based organizations

❖   Elected officials

❖   Not-for-profit board members and other volunteers

❖   Foundations and other funding organizations

❖   Volunteer-based service providers
