MISSION: To provide quality mental health services to Cayuga County residents. Mental health professionals work with individuals and their families/significant others supporting them with a person centered philosophy which is respectful, mutual and focused on recovery.

SERVICES: Clinic Treatment – The Outpatient Clinic is licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health and has professionally trained staff who provide treatment designed to reduce symptoms, improve patient functioning, and to provide on-going support. Services include Assessment and treatment planning; Individual, group, and family therapies; Medication evaluation, therapy, and education; Symptom management; and Crisis Intervention Services.

Intensive Case Management – Provides specialized on-going support and assistance, in conjunction with other services from other mental health programs within the agency.

Medication Clinic - Designed for consumers who are open cases at CCCMHC and do not want or may not benefit from verbal therapy but do need psychotropic medications. Participants meet with their prescriber as needed and must attend at least one psycho-educational or skill-based group each month. Additional services include: health screenings, outreach and engagement, complex care management, crisis contacts, injections and pill boxes.

Social Club Plus – A drop-in program for adults aged 21 and over with a primary diagnosis of mental illness. The program offers support and skill building groups designed to meet the needs expressed by participants. It also includes social and recreational activities and outings. Crisis Services – A crisis line is available evenings, weekends, and holidays. When you call our main telephone line outside our regular business hours, your call will be forwarded to Contact Community Services for screening by their trained crisis line staff. Professional Mental Health Center staff will provide consultation as needed. Phone: (315) 253-0341 to access crisis services.

In addition, the Department contracts with Contact Community Services to provide a confidential counseling line service offering “A safe place to talk things out”. This line is not intended for crisis situations but for those times when you just need someone to talk to. The Hotline number is Phone: (877) 400-8740.

Eligibility: Cayuga County residents with a primary mental health diagnosis.

HOURS: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm. Emergency service 24 hours per day.
