MISSION: The mission of Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency (C/SCAA), Inc. is to respectfully assist people to achieve and sustain self-sufficiency through direct services, education and community partnerships.

SERVICES: Energy Services - Provides direct services designed to reduce the energy burden in both single family and multi-family houses. Early Childhood Education - Provides child development programs for income eligible children ages 0-5 and their families that reside in Cayuga County. Family Development - Provides strength-based programs to assist individuals and families to achieve and sustain self-sufficiency. Services include the following: Homeless Intervention and Case Management, NYS Supportive Housing Program for Young Adults (NYSSHP), Care Seat Distribution, Emergency Services, Online Food Stamp Application Assistance, and the Free Clothing Program. Healthy Families Program - Provides a free and voluntary program designed to provide support and information to new and expectant parents. Supportive Services Administers the Domestic Violence Intervention Program which assists victims of domestic violence and their children to attain a life free of violence. Services include a 24-hour hotline (1-800-253-3358); safe, temporary shelter; advocacy; safety planning assistance; and supportive counseling. See separate listing in directory.
