Mission: Unity House of Cayuga County Inc., headquartered in Auburn, NY, provides services within Cayuga, Tompkins, Onondaga, Monroe, Wayne, Yates, Seneca and Ontario counties. Unity House works in partnership with individuals to enhance their quality of life through personalized goal and skill development. This is accomplished by providing choices for and facilitating access to a wide range of supports including, but not limited to, residential, employment and educational services.

Services:
Unity House of Cayuga County, Inc. provides services support and housing to individuals with a mental health diagnosis, the developmentally disabled seeking a new beginning while coping with chemical dependency, and those at risk of becoming homeless persons.

Services include transitional housing, permanent housing, employment services, and rehabilitative services.

Mental Health Services - Phone: (315) 253-6227 x116. Assists individuals to become contributing members of their communities by building skills, independence, and self-esteem.

Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation Treatment - (252-0757) Individuals receive (how to) information to help them make day-to-day life decisions concerning housing, employment, education and socialization.

Transitional Housing - Offers transitional housing options to individuals with mental illness as they work toward independent living.

Permanent Supported Housing - Offers support for persons who are ready for more independence.

Drop-In Center - Located on Genesee St. is run for and by people receiving mental health services. Individuals can stop by for support, understanding, a reasonably priced meal, and activities.

Mental Retardation/Developmental Disabilities Services - Cayuga County 253-6227 x134, Tompkins County (607) 272-1741. Works with individuals to become contributing members of their communities through goal and skill development. We provide support and access to housing employment and educational resources.

Supervised Community Residence, Supervised Apartments, Supportive Apartments, Individualized Support Services.

Day Habilitation Center - Cayuga County 258-9531, Tompkins County (607) 272-1741. Services and support for the mentally retarded and developmentally disabled through social interaction and instruction in a center-based environment.

Residential Habilitation - Provides case management and support for individuals in an independent living situation.

Alcohol/Drug Addiction Services - G.R.A.C.E. House. Address: 56 Osborne St., Auburn NY 13021. Phone: (315) 258-3998. An alcohol and drug halfway house for men and women looking to create a new life. Individuals at G.R.A.C.E. House receive support from peers as they work on their individualized recovery plans.

Unity Employment Services - Address: 38 Genesee St., Auburn, NY. Phone: (315) 253-8732. Serving Cayuga County Unity Employment Services offers people with disabilities or with a history of employment challenges support securing and maintaining jobs. We provide career exploration assistance, job search assistance, job coaching, and performance monitoring.

Special Needs Adult Residence - Green Street House. Address: 507 W. Green St., Ithaca, NY 14850. Phone: (607) 277-6173. Green Street House offers transitional and permanent housing for men and women who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Green Street House is a clean, safe haven with 18 private bedrooms and several large, shared living spaces.
