Mission: NAMI is a non-profit organization providing support, education and advocacy to families and friends of people experiencing serious and persistent psychiatric illness.

Services: A Support Group meeting every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6pm in the Carr Building at 188 Genesee Street in Auburn. NAMI’s Family-to-Family Education Program is offered periodically. It is a 12-week course for families of individuals with severe brain disorders (mental illness) and it teaches the knowledge and skills that family members need to cope more effectively. Through advocacy and collaboration with other organizations in the community, NAMI seeks to improve access to mental health services and support family members.
