Mission: Legal Services of Central New York, Inc. (LSCNY) is a non-profit law firm that provides free civil (non-criminal) legal advice and representation to residents of Cayuga, Cortland, Jefferson, Onondaga and Oswego counties. LSCNY's clients are families and individuals who would otherwise be denied legal protection because they are poor. Through special grants, LSCNY serves people with physical, developmental and psychiatric disabilities, senior citizens, and families affected by HIV/AIDS.

Services: Legal representation and advice in civil (non-criminal) cases involving public assistance, Medicaid, Food Stamps, landlord-tenant, SSI/SSD, and other disability related matters. LSCNY is not currently handling divorce and other family law matters in Cayuga County.

Auburn Hours: On Fridays, by appointment only, at the Human Rights Office, Auburn Memorial City Hall, 24 South Street.

Syracuse Hours: Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Syracuse Office located at Empire Bldg., Ste.3000, 472 S. Salina St., Syracuse, NY. Phone - (315) 475-3127, Fax - 475-2706.

Referral: Human service agencies, other lawyers, and government agencies.
